What is After Dark?
After Dark was the screen saver for the classic Macintosh, published by Berkeley Systems in 1989, back when an idle Mac really could burn an image into the phosphor of its CRT. It turned a humble utility into entertainment: fish swam, lawn mowers wandered off, and winged toasters flapped across a million sleeping screens.
Each screen saver is a small plug-in "module," and dozens shipped across After Dark 1.0–3.0 and the More After Dark collection. The flying toaster became one of the most recognizable icons of early-'90s computing, and the modules here are those very programs, byte for byte.

This is a software-preservation project. Nothing here is a remake: the original 68k module code runs unmodified inside a small Macintosh Toolbox emulator compiled to WebAssembly.
